オン・ザ・ロック
オン・ザ・ロック (On the rock) とはアルコール度数の高い酒を飲む際の方法の一つである。そのままロックと言う場合のほうが多い。ロックグラス、もしくはタンブラーグラスに氷のみを入れて飲む。当然他のもので割られるわけではないので度数は高く、通好みな飲み方といえるだろう。ちなみに氷さえ入れずそのまま飲む方法をストレート、水で割る方法を水割り、ソーダ水で割る方法をハイボールという。
